AHOU Mentoring Program

The power of our association can be seen in the strengths of its members.

At AHOU we have always found ways to learn from each other and now we have harnessed our strengths to build a mentoring program that allows us to guide our newer members and helps us all build our skills by working together and mentoring each other

The program consists of two cycles each year. One cycle runs January through June and the second cycle runs from July through December. The survey for the next cycle of the mentor program will be distributed in May.

Mentorship is not a one-way street, as all people who have been involved in a mentoring relationship know, both the mentor and the mentee will grow and learn during the process. The mentee will need to take ownership of the process. They will be responsible for making the contact, setting up the sessions and should also have ideas for topics to be discussed since they are the ones seeking the guidance of an experienced mentor.
